A little help in the kitchen.

Recipe Keeper is provided by Marius Semenas. For direct help, use the developer contact shown for Recipe Keeper in the App Store.

A website will not import

Some pages block access, require sign-in, or do not publish readable recipe details. Your saved link stays in the inbox. Try copied ingredients and steps, a screenshot, or a scan. A social-video link alone may provide only a bookmark or description.

Move recipes to a new phone

On the old phone, open Settings, choose Export all data, and include original files. Save the .recipebox file somewhere you can reach from the new phone. On the new phone, install Recipe Keeper, choose Restore from .recipebox, inspect the preview, and select Merge. Confirm that recipes and originals are present before deleting anything on the old phone. There is no automatic cloud recovery.

Restore Full Cookbook

Use Settings → Restore Purchases while signed into the Apple Account that owns the purchase or has a supported Family Sharing entitlement. Family Sharing shares the purchase, not your recipe library. If the App Store is unavailable, try again when connected.

Reminders or timers do not alert

Check iPhone Settings → Notifications → Recipe Keeper and your Focus settings. Reminders are scheduled locally; open the app occasionally to refresh future suggestions. Exact alert delivery depends on iOS settings and behavior.
